Perfect for breakfast! Welcomed by very friendly staff and served a very filling breakfast. The Denver scramble was so big I couldn't finish all of it. The biscuit that came with it tasted like it was home made and the fresh jam was perfect. We also had the zig zag eggs Benedict and it was also a very large portion and was well made. Overall it was well priced and very satisfying. Get a seat by the window for a great view of the little creek that runs behind the restaurant!
Wonderful service. We were able to sit by a very large window with a beautiful view of the forest and creek. We had veggie omelet that came with potatoes and a biscuit which were so delicious. We also had a waffle with the marionberry sauce which I would buy a couple jars of to take home if they had it. Highly recommend for a relaxing breakfast!
Delicious breakfast! Everyone agreed the homemade biscuits were soft, buttery and just the right amount of crispy. The reading nook looks like a perfect place to sit by the fire on a cold day with a delicious cup of coffee. We had a lovely time and recieved our food and drinks in a regular amount of time. There were about 15 other families there when we arrived and about 20 when we departed. Wheelchair accessible for entry however it might be difficult to have more than one seating arrangement as the stairs to the second dining area and chimney in the middle of the room can possibly cause a space issue.
This is the cutest cafe with the best breakfast! We tried the old fashioned oatmeal, banana chocolate chip pancakes, and chicken fried steak. Everything was perfect! Our server was friendly and the small town vibe was great! Highly recommend before a good hike!
Sour dough pancakes for breakfast. We also tried the French toast. The coffee was good and served in large mugs. The breakfast arrived quickly and was delicious. Parking is limited buy well worth the wonderful meal. Add8ng to our favorite places for breakfast
Historic cafe right on the river built over a hundred years ago out of grand firs. They serve big cups of coffee in sturdy mugs. Lots of variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch options. Scrambles , pancakes, waffles, omelettes, gravy smothered biscuits. Gargantuan portions, so prepare for leftovers unless you have Bigfoot’s appetite. We waited for quite a while for our food with no check in from the waiter, but they were obviously understaffed and Sunday brunch can be a bustling time for the only egg-focused dining establishment in ZigZag. Overall well worth the wait. The food was delish.
Food tasted so good. like some genuine country cooking. And the location can’t be beat.
Family of 5 went for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and had the best time. It was quiet and service was sweet and friendly. We absolutely loved it. It’s a new go-to for us. Between the 5 of us we tried: chicken fried steak, chocolate chip pancakes, banana pancake, bear pancake, Denver scramble, biscuits, breakfast potatoes, sausage, and bacon. All phenomenal!
